children in Dowa child care centre

These children come to the centre for food and play. 700 in total.. and more than twice that number during years of famine. They learn about health, nutrition and AIDS. They sing about Aids ('Aids is a killer disease', 'aids killed my mother' and the sort). they dance, sing and act. Hundreds of smiling angel faces saying hi.

Hats off for the NGO, PRDO, which helps them working throught the district of Dowa in Malawi with little funds but a great spirit and passion. They build and run schools, markets, nutrition centres, food security projects, home-bound care projects, etc.
